TacStrike Systems officially opened on July 4th, 2011 in order to bring the 1/4 Scale Steel Target System to the shooting community. This target system was the brainchild of Pat Goodale and the instructor staff at Practical Firearms Training PFT and was designed and then re-engineered over the course of a decade to what you see today. A steel target system that is designed with firearms instructors and their shooters in mind. While there are plenty of steel target companies on the market, we beleive that having a background and career in the training industry gives us a better perspective on what is needed in the design of steel targets and target carriers for use in training.
Steel Targets are not all we do here at TacStrike though. We have designed and patended several target stands for a host of shooting and range conditions. Our Arch Frame Target Carrier only has four points of contact with the ground making it very stable and helps in fighting the wind more so than a standard H-Frame target stand. And, our Carrier Portable and Self Staking (CPaSS) is a small colapsible three legged target carrier that is revolutionary within the shooting industry.
Along with steel targets and target carriers we are continually pushing out new products as we design, test and evaluate their quality and use in training the CCW holder to the nation's tier one units.
