The training philosophy at Pat Goodale's Practical Firearms Training is complex and well thought out through a lifetime of first hand knowledge and blazing a path along the way. However, there has never been a target that met a few of the needs of trainers in the public venue with the same thoughts on what a skill building target should look like.

TacStrike's Bigger Stronger Younger Faster Target or BSYF (Patent and Copywrite Pending) for short is that answer.  We train ourselves mentally to prepare for an adversary who may very well have an advantage over us.  Since we are training to fight and increasing our skill sets then it leaves only a few ways for us to lose the advantage.

Goodale's tag line for years has been that your adversary will be "Bigger, Stronger, Younger, Faster!"  and "Probably in a group"  

A lot of targets show anatomy zones in great detail and the standard in training and competion for many years has been either the IDPA or IPSC targets.  The problem being that nothing is to any real scale.  

So we launched the BSYF Target to accomplish this goal.  The BSYF is based off of a 5'10" male which is the American Avg.  

The BSYF has three distinct zones of fire each being the size of an open hand which Pat deems as true combat accuracy.  An open hand group no matter the time, distance or environmental conditions.  Pat teaches three primary aiming points when engaging a threat and those are the center chest, pelvic girdle and head.  Each of which are represented in a subdued perferation on the target.  

Because bad guys don't walk around with aiming points on them we desided to leave the BSYF as a "BUFF" target and leave the option of aiming points to the end users.  

The BSYF represents more than a century of combined experience of the PFT and TacStrike Staff members and we feel that it will be a well received answer to a long asked question.
